1. Raisin – 3.05%
Raisin currently offers the highest promotional rate, at 3.05%.
The catch? The promotional interest rate applies for new customers where you get a guaranteed interest rate of 3.05% per account on a freely withdrawable savings account for the first 3 months. You can deposit money freely (up to a maximum of €100,000) and withdraw whenever you want.
Note: Raisin is a savings platform that allows you to open savings accounts with various European banks through one platform. It is particularly interesting if you are willing to compare different savings products rather than sticking with your current bank.
2. bunq – 3.01%
bunq offers 3.01% promotional interest until 1 January 2027.
It pays the interest rate weekly and you can withdraw money up to 3 times a month.
Note: bunq is Dutch so your savings account is covered by the Dutch deposit guarantee scheme.
3. Santander Consumer Bank – 3.01%
Santander Consumer Bank is offering 3.01% promotional interest for 6 months.
The promotional interest is valid for new customers for the first 6 months and the first € 250,000.
You can withdraw your money any time and your get a monthly interest rate.
Note: The savings account is not covered by the Dutch deposit guarantee scheme. Instead, because the actual bank is Spanish, deposits are covered by the Spanish deposit guarantee scheme, generally up to €100,000 per person per bank.
4. Garanti BBVA International – 3.00%
Garanti BBVA International currently offers 3.00% promotional interest for 6 months. You can withdraw your money anytime. Your savings are covered by the Dutch Deposit Guarantee Scheme.
Note: The accrued interest is paid out into the savings account every year on 1 January.
5. Trade Republic – 3.00%
Trade Republic offers 3.00% for new customers on balances up to €50,000.
Paid monthly. You can withdraw your money any time.
Note: It is a German bank so the Dutch Deposit Guarantee Scheme does not apply.
